About the Department:
The Department of Humanities is an assisting department of BVEC. The subjects under this department includes English, Constitution of India, Environmental Science, Economics, Sociology, Accountancy & Principles of Management. The subjects are involved with all the Departments of the Institute. Humanities studies the laws and traditions of society ,culture, communications and various other aspects of human life.It intends to give the students a vivid cultural background , professional skills and outlook , that is necessary to become a well-informed citizen to enrich their personal , professional and social life.
Vision:
Department prosper to provide the students scope for better understanding of social,cultural,managerial & environmental scenario and present day challenges from the view point of global as well as at regional level. The department helps them to be a potential human resource with deep sense of moral and humanity.
Mission:
The mission of the department of Humanities are as follows:
- Train students to acquire English language appropriately and get themselves ready for professional life.
- Facilitate technical skills with the help of independent language laboratory to improve their competence.
- Acquaint students with the relevant fields of engineering business economics and principles of management to make them future ready and help them contribute in various professional fields
- Provide knowledge and awareness to the students about social, geological , political and cultural etiquettes to help them live an enhanced and improved personal as well as professional life
